i feel a strange affinity and kinship with st-petersburg, although i've never been there and don't speak russian ( not yet at least). i'm fond of russian culture in general, for no better reason that it simply moves me...i enjoy good conversations and good laughs. cheers, hope to make some new friends..st-petersburg is one of my mythical cities and i can't wait to hear about it some more from people who actually know it...

Hello there, (F)T've just been registered from Turkey, good to see people thinking like me! But, a bit more, could you please share your discourses about learning Russian? I'm trying to learn, but bad at pronounciation and grammer. I learnt letters quickly, used them and memorized some of nouns, verbs, but there is so so more to do. Maybe you could advise a reference site about learning русский язык.
